The Upper World

The upper realm, which I access through the branches of my tree, is a place of great beauty. Tropical islands, magical landscapes, landscapes of cloud and mists, of jungles and waterfalls, you will find here. This is where the spirits that exist on a higher vibration dwell. Here I have met my human spirit guides young and old, the wise ones, the gods and goddesses. These guides can appear in all guises: angelic, goddesses or gods, wise men and women, the old crone and Native Americans. Animals, fish, birds and insects also reside here and your animal guides will follow you there. Among the creatures I met in the upper world are eagles, deer, salmon, butterflies, herons, bees and snakes.

In the landscape, I have seen magnificent waterfalls, caves, mountains, bridges, ravines, white beaches, lakes and pools.

Accessing this realm though the branches of my tree, I then continue the journey on a boat via a stream, river or ocean. However, sometimes, I fly there.

I visit this realm for healing purposes, to gain wisdom and for knowledge. Scrying (skrying) is something I often do in this realm in dark pools of water, although sometimes my spirit guides give me runes or symbolic items.

Once, while in the upper world, I came upon a dark passageway in a cave, although I had entered many caves there, this one seemed dark and eerie, and I could see the passageway led downwards. I had inadvertently found a bridge from the upper world to the underworld, I did not want to go in and trusting my instincts stayed away.

Many years ago, in an astral projection journey, a young spirit child took me to the upper world and showed me around; this was my first journey there and it was a wonderful experience.
